Perez Hilton Records Song for 2013 BROADWAY'S CAROLS FOR A CURE

Celebrity gossip blogger and Broadway fan Perez Hilton is showing his support for the 2013 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 15, singing an original song called 'Perez's 2013 Holiday Dishlist," with music by Jason Michael Webb, and lyrics by Lynn Pinto and George Howe. Perez Hilton made his New York stage debut in 2012 in the comical off-Broadway revue "NEWSical the Musical."

TNT, TBS to Bring FALLING SKIES, MOB CITY, KING OF THE NERDS & More to New York Comic Con

Top-rated cable networks TNT and TBS are preparing to invade New York Comic Con with four exciting panels for the Oct. 10-13 event. TNT will present panels for its Epic sci-fi series Falling Skies, which returns for its fourth season in summer 2014, and eagerly anticipated noir drama Mob City, which premieres Dec. 4. TBS will stage panels for the hit competition show King of the Nerds, which returns for its second season Jan. 23, and the upcoming late-night series The Pete Holmes Show, which premieres Oct. 28. In addition, TBS is sponsoring a special live edition of the popular If I Were You podcast, guest-starring Pete Holmes.

Ten years ago, as a reaction to over-amplification of musicals, Scott Siegel had the crazy idea that there might be an audience for a concert of Broadway show tunes performed the way they used to be sung: without microphones. And Scott had the perfect place to try out his theory, the acoustically wonderful Town Hall on West 43rd St. With no money, but the support of a great many singers who wanted, literally, to be heard in a way that was no longer possible on Broadway, he launched the first Broadway Unplugged, boasting 'Sound Design by God.' The Pearl Theatre Company kicks off its 30th anniversary season-the second season in its new home on West 42nd Street-with the first New York revival in 15 years of George Bernard Shaw's You Never Can Tell in a co-production with the Gingold Theatrical Group that is directed by David Staller. TheatreSquared will stage the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama finalist, 4,000 Miles September 26 through October 13, 2013 in downtown Fayetteville. This new script from New York-based playwright Amy Herzog will be directed at TheatreSquared by Shana Gold, who most recently directed the world premiere of Food and Fadwa at New York Theatre Workshop.4,000 Miles, the Obie Award winner for Best New American Play in 2012, finds humor and warmth in the story of college dropout Leo, who has bicycled from California to New York and landed on the doorstop of his 91-year-old grandmother, Vera.
