The Path Fund Inc. will present the 25th Annual ROCKERS ON BROADWAY® Monday, November 12, which will honor legendary Rock & Roll drummer from Bad Company and Free, SIMON KIRKE, and two-time TONY Award winner for Fun Home, Assassins - MICHAEL CERVERIS.
"Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play," written by Anne Washburn and directed by Kyle Cooper, features a group of survivors after the collapse of civilization. The survivors surround a campfire and reminisce about the plot of an episode of "The Simpsons" television show titled "Cape Feare." The production runs November 9-December 2, 2018 in the Young Theatre on campus with Musical Direction by Craig Shields and Choreography by Angeline Mirenda.

Last night was the Drama League's 35th Annual Benefit Gala: A Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring film, television, theater icon and three-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane. Last night, Schimmel Center presented the first of two Salon Songbook concerts this season, Feeling Wicked: The Magical Side of the American Songbook. The concert, created and hosted by Deborah Grace Winer-formerly the artistic director of the acclaimed 92Y series Lyrics and Lyricists-explored the mysterious, magical, and miraculous side of the American Songbook with songs by Harold Arlen, Lerner and Loewe, Cy Coleman, Stephen Schwartz, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Disney classics, and more.
99 WOMEN, a play by Genevieve Flaven, directed by Genevieve Yiming Wang, opened at the Glicker-Milstein Theater on November 1st, 2018. This production with Columbia Blue Glaze Theater explores what it means to identify as a woman in contemporary times. Boldly presenting 99 monologues in three languages with an All-Asian Cast, the play has caught the attention of mainstream media both in the United States and in the People's Republic of China, including Forbes China, Elle China, Voice Of America, China Daily, SinoVision China, World Journal, and The Global Times. The play is part of the ongoing project "The 99 Project" and has been staged internationally in Shanghai, India, and France. Miss Wang addresses the audience in the premiere, "From 99 to 100, we are always in search of one more story."

After producing Off-Broadway's first ancient Chinese drama 'Where Is My Maple Town,' Genevieve Yiming Wang directs'99 Women,' a new play written by Genevieve Flaven. It opens at Glicker-Milstein Theatre on November 1st, 2018. The play incorporates three different languages (Mandarin-Chinese, French, and English), all of which will be featured in this production.
Columbia Blue Glaze Theater will be staging a production of 99 Women by French playwright Genevieve Flaven in the Glicker-Milstein Theater. The production, directed by Genevieve Wang, seeks to explore what it means to identify as a woman in contemporary times and tells the stories of 99 women from all over the world. The stories, based on interviews conducted with real women, will be told in the form of sequential monologues about their individual lived experiences. What happens when a woman does not conform to the ideals of society? Or even when they do conform? The characters in this play speak of their bodies, their families, their friends, the men in their lives, their relationships with other women, and most importantly, they speak of themselves. 99 Women does not promise to provide answers, but rather, seeks to complicate the audience's understanding of what it means to exist as a woman in a world where women's voices are more important than ever.

Irvine Barclay Theatre was recently informed that Bebe Neuwirth is withdrawing from her concert engagement at Irvine Barclay Theatre on March 16th. Scheduling conflicts will preclude her from being able to perform at the Barclay as planned. In her stead, the Barclay is announcing a performance on the same date, March 16, 2019 at 8pm, of 4 GIRLS 4 featuring four legendary Broadway singers and actresses.

The Phantom of the Opera celebrated its unprecedented 30th Anniversary in New York City on January 26, 2018. To mark the occasion, 30 designers were tasked to transform the look of the iconic Phantom mask -originally designed by Maria Bjornson and realized by milliner Rodney Gordon - in their own aesthetic vision for a one-of-a-kind mask.
