As Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) finishes the run of its acclaimed world-premiere family musical The Emperor's New Clothes this month, it looks forward to the season ahead. Outlined in the 2010/11 Season Calendar below are CST's three-play Subscription Series, World's Stage productions from Scotland and Ireland, and a CST export to Australia.
The New York premiere of PLAY DEAD, a new Off-Broadway thriller co-written and directed by Teller (of Penn & Teller) and co-written & performed by Todd Robbins, will begin performances at Off-Broadway's Players Theater (115 MacDougal Street at Minetta Lane) on Thursday, October 21 for an open-ended run. The official press opening is slated for Wednesday, November 10.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) announces today the addition of two World's Stage productions to its 2010/11 Season: the award-winning, CST-commissioned Funk It Up About Nothin' embarks on a tour of Australia, preceded by a limited return engagement Upstairs at Chicago Shakespeare in January 2011; and the National Theatre of Scotland's internationally-acclaimed production Black Watch is added to the CST World Stage Series, presented at Chicago's Broadway Armory from March 29 to April 10, 2011.
Yesterday, June 6, the 'GQ, Nautica, and Oceana World Oceans Day Party' was held at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California. The event was hosted by actress January Jones.
