The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will continue its Marx Theatre season with best-selling author Walter Mosley and his first-ever play, THE FALL OF HEAVEN. This hip and inventive new play will receive its world premiere at the Playhouse January 23rd through February 20th.

The Hollywood Reporter has printed that Simon Cowell, of American Idol and The X Factor fame, will be launching The X Factor talent show in Las Vegas in a global pay-per-view Internet venture with British retail billionaire Philip Green.

GQ online has offered a sneak peak of its selections for Men of the Year before the magazines hit newsstands this week. The annual GQ Men of the Year awards gives GQ magazine's 800,000 readers the chance to vote for the most influential figures in a variety of fields over the past year. Among the honorees this year are stage and stars Bradley Cooper and Chris Pine are included this year's list.

The critically acclaimed hit show 'The Temperamentals' has four individuals in the annual OUT Magazine (December 2009 & January 2010 issue) 'Out 100 class of 2009.' They are Jon Maranas, the playwright; Stacy Shane, producer; Jonathan Silverstein, director and the actor Michael Urie.

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake may be headed to the silver screen in Guy Richie's upcoming remake of GUYS AND DOLLS. The performer is said to have agreed to star in one of Richie's new films, and the pair 'shook hands over a whisky at the Punch Bowl pub in Mayfair' to confirm the arrangement, reports Britain's The Sun.

Stagedoor Manor announces the upcoming book 'Theater Geek' , the tome will tell the story of the performing arts camp's rich history and amazing track record for producing the next generation of stars. The nominations for the 2009 GLAAD Media Awards have been announced, BILLY ELLIOT and Road Show were among the New York theatre related show nominees. The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation also announced that Tyra Banks will receive the Excellence in Media Award and Suze Orman will be awarded the Vito Russo Award. GLAAD also give honors to comicbooks, advertising and journalism. Ceremonies will be held on March 28 in New York at the Marriott Maquis, April 18 in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre and on May 9 in San Francisco at the San Francisco Hilton.
