Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center announces the return of “One Night Only' for the 16th year on November 9, 2022 at the McCallum Theatre produced by Michael Childers with returning director Scott Coulter and music director Todd Schroeder. The theme this year is “New York/New York” in all its glory from Harlem and the Cotton Club to Broadway and 42nd Street to Studio 54.

Today, the full list of nominees for the “53rd NAACP Image Awards” were announced. Nominees included Ariana DeBose, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Encanto, Cynthia Erivo, Audra McDonald, Respect, Taraji P. On Monday, December 13, singer Kimberley Locke stormed the historic Birdland stage in New York City to celebrate the holidays and the release of her new CD, “Christmas is Here.”

BIRDLAND will present Kimberley Locke on Monday, December 13 at 7:00 PM to celebrate the release of the new album Christmas is Here. Locke will perform selections from the album, including the Donna Summer classic “Christmas is Here” and the vintage standard “Mele Kalikimaka,” in addition to traditional carols and seasonal favorites for this special time of year.
