The 26th Annual Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films, Florida's largest student film competition and award show, proudly announces this year's class of winners. Winners were announced during a dazzling, fun-filled Facebook show and included congratulations and 'shout-outs' from some of television's hottest stars.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 46 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus later this month to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 25 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.
The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival and the Atlantic Theater are calling all adventurers to cling tight to their loved ones this Season during a special production of The Woman in Black, a gothic ghost story adapted by Stephen Mallatratt from the book by Susan Hill. The performance ran this past weekend and will go through November 7th with show times Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 6pm and matinee productions Saturday at 3pm at the intimate Atlantic Theater in Jupiter.
The Jove's recent appearances include the 2007 Miami Improv Festival opening for The Groundlings from Los Angeles and Upright Citizens Brigade from New York City. It was their third straight year performing at the Miami Improv Festival, a collection of the nation's best Improv comedy troupes. The Jove has also been invited to perform on the main stage at Artigras 2006, as well as countless corporate training and entertainment events all across Palm Beach County, including the Kravis Center, The Maltz Jupiter Theater, Duncan Theater and The Cuillo Centre for the Arts. The group received a 2005 Impy award for best sketch comedy in Palm Beach County. They were also an integral part in raising thousands of dollars for the American Red Cross in 2004 and 2005, donating proceeds from their show to benefit hurricane victims.
The show will be presented by The Jove, a 6 member troupe of professional actors and comedians: including former Blue Man Group member Frank Licari. Founded in November of 2004, this improv and sketch comedy troupe can best be described as a combination of 'Saturday Night Live' and 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?'
