Joe's Pub, a program and venue of The Public Theater, has announced the new class of Joe's Pub Working Group (JPWG), the venue's artist development program dedicated to enhancing the career sustainability and growth of performing artists. Entering its sixth year, JPWG welcomes five artists - cabaret artist Salty Brine, vocalist and composer Sarah Elizabeth Charles, musician and musical theater composer Jaime Lozano, Indian classical and crossover vocalist Roopa Mahadevan, and singer-songwriter Kirsten Maxwell - into the group, which represents the diversity and scope of the nightly programming at Joe's Pub.

Jaime Lozano made his debut at the Green Room 42 to a packed house on Sunday November 24th. His show, Songs by an Immigrant, explored the immigrant experience through a series of songs from various points in his songwriting career.

Next Wednesday, March 1st, composer Jaime Lozano's new Song Cycle, 'A Never-Ending Line,' will have its world premiere at Broadway au Carre in Paris, France.

Teatro SEA, under the Artistic Direction of Dr. Manuel A. Moran, announces the premiere of 'MicroTeatro/MicroTheater New York,' a festival of small theatre in alternative spaces which will take place on the first Monday of each month.

Presented by The New York Musical Festival, Jorge de la Garza and German Cavazos, CHILDREN OF SALT is the first Official Selection of the New York Musical Festival from Mexico, CHILDREN OF SALT by Jaime Lozano and Lauren Epsenhart. The musical is directed by Jose Zayas, musical direction by Geraldine Anello with choreography Stephanie Klemons (Associate Choreographer: Hamilton). In anticipation of its New York presentation with the New York Musical Festival (NYMF) this July, producers Jorge de la Garza and German Cavazos hosted a special concert version of the new musical Children of Salt on June 6 at The Metropolitan Room. The musical features music by Jaime Lozano and book and lyrics by Lauren Epsenhart, with arrangements & orchestrations by Jesus Altamira and Jaime Lozano, musical direction by Geraldine Anello and musical supervision by Zach Dietz.
