MF Tomlinson Announces London Headline Show

The genre-defying MF Tomlinson has announced a headline show at the Moth Club, London on July 31st. He will be joined in support by Whenyoung DJs, Pristine Babe, Frango Jet and Awesome & Possum. Tickets are on sale now via DICE.

In 1936, producer David O. Selznick began a 2-year search to find an unknown to play Scarlett O'Hara in his soon-to-be film masterpiece Gone with the Wind. At this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival, Kick Boom Theater Company is re-telling the (mostly true) story in its inaugural production of the innovative and totally entertaining SCARLETT FEVER, created and directedchoreographed by John Wuchte, with original music by John Wuchte and award-winning composer Michael Teoli which adds percussive accompaniment as a perfect complement to Wuchte's signature Tribal Acting style.

Sofia Bolt Shares Advance Stream Of Debut Album WAVES, Out This Week

Sofia Bolt, the psych-pop project of guitaristvocalist Amélie Rousseaux, is sharing an advance stream of her debut album Waves, out this Friday on Loantaka Records. Hype Machine premiered the stream today, praising the record's 'warm-toned and lyrically honest songs.'

Million Dollar Quartet is the Tony Award-winning smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. Los Angeles-based Cones - a.k.a brothers Jonathan and Michael Rosen - announce their debut album Pictures of Pictures. While the Rosens only began making music together a few years ago, through touring with The Fiery Furnaces'Eleanor Friedberger as both her backing band and members of her openerIcewater, this Cones debut is a long time coming. After releasing a handful of singles, the band went into a friend's studio to collaborate with a producer for the first time and record what they thought would be their first record.

For the second production in their 48th annual season of professional summer theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the blockbuster stage musical version of the hit Reese Witherspoon movie Legally Blonde. Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the MGM film, the movie was adapted for the stage by Heather Hach, with music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin.

CROSSING THE LINE Festival 2019 Announced At FIAF

The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries. All performances are world, US, or New York premieres; they are united by their convention-breaking fearlessness as they confront topics from social injustice to personal demons. Many of the performances pay homage to legendary artists of our time and previous eras, while the theme of migration and its transformational effects on identity informs several others. The festival runs from September 12 to October 12. Ticket are available at crossingtheline.org.

Megan Thee Stallion Inducted Into XXL's 2019 Freshman Class

Today, Megan Thee Stallion is inducted into the coveted XXL Freshman Class. Following the success of her Billboard Hot 100 single, 'Big Ole Freak,' and latest project Fever (1501 Certified300 Entertainment), Megan landed the cover of XXL's Freshman issue, on stands July 16th. Thee Stallion's freestyle and Freshman profile goes live Tues., July 9. She will also be playing the XXL Freshman show at New York City's PlayStation Theater on Mon., July 22 and the Los Angeles show on Thurs., July 25at The Novo.

MURDER FOR TWO Comes to Wellfleet

Opening July 5 at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, Murder for Two is a musical murder mystery full of invention and humor. Book and lyrics are by Kellen Blair, book and music by Joe Kinosian. Murder for Two runs July 5-27, with performances at 8:00 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Two preview performances, July 3 and 4, begin at 7:30 p.m. Opening night is July 5, at 8 p.m. Murder for Two is directed by Sam Scalamoni, with music direction by Gary Adler.

The first show will be the London premiere of Dave Malloy's celebrated song cycle Ghost Quartet brought to life by the team behind the recent hit production of Sweeney Todd which won great acclaim in London and New York. Ghost Quartet will run alongside a packed roster of late-night and Sunday performances of cabaret, improv, jazz, comedy, classical music and poetry. The Boulevard Theatre's 2020 season will be announced in September.
