The Circuit Playhouse hosts New Colony Theatre of Chicago's The Warriors for Newtown, a benefit to support the Sandy Hook Elementary Victims Relief Fund. The evening will include a one-night-only reading of The Warriors written by former Playhouse on the Square Company Member Evan Linder, and conceived by actress Mary Hollis Inboden, also a former Memphis actress and a Jonesboro, Arkansas native. The Warriors for Newtown will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at The Circuit Playhouse, 51 S. Cooper Street in Midtown.

Written by Associate Artistic Director Evan Linder (FRAT, The Warriors, 11:11, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche) and directed by company member Sean Kelly (Pancake Breakfast), The Bear Suit of Happiness runs February 28 - March 30, 2013. 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche, the explosive Off-Broadway play, has announced today that it will play a weekend of performances once a month at The SoHo Playhouse Mainstage (15 Vandam Street, NYC). Previously scheduled to play weekly performances through Sunday, January 6th, effective immediately the production is now playing four performances during the second weekend of each month beginning January 11, 2013. This monthly cycle will continue on the weekends of February 8th and March 8th. A closing date has not been announced.
