Theatre Now New York (TNNY) has announced that tickets are now on sale for SOUND BITES 6.0, the Sixth Annual Festival of 10-Minute Musicals. This one-night only event, now in its sixth year, showcases 10 new musicals by up-and-coming musical theatre writing teams. SOUND BITES 6.0 will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 7:00pm at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center, 129 West 67th Street, New York, NY 10023. Tickets are $25, $35, and $45 and are available for purchase at www.tnny.org or by calling 855-254-SHOW [7469]. TNNY Members receive 20% off their ticket purchase (with no service fees). The Cabaret Showdown is a monthly game show produced by Sound Street Productions in association with Frigid New York @ Horse Trade since 2011. This unique competition is a mixture of live karaoke and musical improvisation, with a game board. Contestants are asked to choose songs from various categories with no knowledge of what the song will be until 30 seconds before they sing. The winner from each month receives a free one-hour showcase performance at the Kraine Theater presented the following month. Contestants can register in advance at the official website.

MEDICINE THE MUSICAL, a new musical written by Michael Ehrenreich and directed by Joey Murray, will be making its world premiere in a limited engagement run on Today, November 3rd thru Sunday, November 18th at HERE Arts Center (145 Sixth Ave), in the Mainstage Theater.
