One of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS will come to Shea's Buffalo Theatre from February 5 to 10, 2019 as part of a multi-season North American tour. Presale tickets will be on sale from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 by using the password MEMORY. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018.

Today, in celebration of National Cat Day, producers announced casting for the North American tour of the first ever Broadway revival of CATS. The multi-year tour will launch at Providence Performing Arts Center on January 22, 2019 and play 24 cities in its first season.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies will perform in Wharton Center's Cobb Great Hall starting Tuesday, October 9th through Sunday, October 14th as part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center Series. The brand-new touring production features an extensive re-working of the material by an Australian creative team for the original Australian premiere in 2011. Directed by Simon Phillips, known for Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical, with new set and costume designs by Gabriela Tylesova, choreography by 2011 Astaire Awards winner Graeme Murphy, lighting design by Nick Schlieper, and sound design by Mick Potter, the show is one of the few instances of a major West End musical being given a complete makeover for subsequent productions. The year is 1907, ten years after the disappearance of the Phantom from the Paris Opera House and he's escaped to a new life in New York where he lives among the freak shows at Coney Island. He finally found a place for his music to soar, but he never stopped yearning for his one true love, Christine Daae, and lures her, Raoul, and their young son to New York not knowing what's in store for them. Hennepin Theatre Trust announced Andrew Lloyd Webber's LOVE NEVER DIES, the spellbinding sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, makes its Minneapolis premiere as part of the 2017-2018 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season June 26-July 1, 2018 at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis).

Direct from the highly successful production of Love Never Dies in Hamburg, Germany, Gardar Thor Cortes will portray the man behind the mask, 'The Phantom,' with Meghan Picerno as 'Christine Daae,' Karen Mason as 'Madame Giry,' Sean Thompson as 'Raoul,' Mary Michael Patterson as 'Meg Giry,' and Casey Lyons and Jake Heston Miller sharing the role of 'Gustave.' The trio of Phantom's henchmen include Katrina Kemp as 'Fleck,' Richard Koons as 'Squelch,' Stephen Petrovich as 'Gangle,' Gardar Thor Cortes is appearing with the permission of Actors' Equity Association.  The Producers gratefully acknowledge Actors' Equity Association for its assistance of this production.

LOVE NEVER DIES is a very misunderstood musical, much like the charactor 'Phantom of the Opera.' This show is the sequel to 'THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA', and it turns PHANTOM upside down. If you watched The Wizard of Oz on television for many years, then went to see WICKED, you were probably in shock that two sides to the same story can be so radically different. What we thought we were seeing in PHANTOM, was Raoul's view. The new show is from Christine's perspective.
