Erika Mallin has been appointed Executive Director of the New York State Council on the Arts.

Signature Theatre's Board of Trustees (Edward Norton, Chairman, and Nina Matis, President) announced today the appointment of Harold Wolpert as Executive Director of the Tony Award-winning company beginning April 2, 2018. He will serve alongside Artistic Director Paige Evans, who joined Signature in 2016. Mr. Wolpert is a three-time Tony Award-winner who has served in leadership roles at some of the country's premiere cultural organizations, including Roundabout Theater Company, where he was Managing Director until 2016.

Signature Theatre Board Chairman Edward Norton and incoming Board President Nina Matis announced today that Executive Director Erika Mallin will step down from the company after 10 years to pursue new opportunities.

Casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) productions of Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks' The Red Letter Plays: f**king A & In the Blood. This is the first time these acclaimed plays will be presented together; they will run simultaneously at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). These two plays mark the final productions of Parks' Signature Residency One. All tickets for the initial runs of the productions are $30 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access.

The Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) world premiere production of The Antipodes, written by Residency Five playwright Annie Baker and directed by Lila Neugebauer, has been extended by for a third time.

Parks is Signature's current Residency One playwright; her plays Venus, directed by Lear deBessonet, and The Red Letter Plays: In the Bloodand f**king A, directed by Jo Bonney, will be presented in 2017.

Signature Theatre's Board of Trustees announced today the appointment of Paige Evans as Artistic Director beginning July 1, 2016. She succeeds Founding Artistic Director James Houghton, who will step down at the end of June. Ms. Evans comes to Signature Theatre from Lincoln Center Theater, where she has served as Artistic Director of LCT3 since its inception in 2008.

Called 'one of the most important plays of our time' by The New York Times in its review of the show's original production, the 50th Anniversary production of Incident at Vichy will now play through Sunday, December 13, 2015. The production begins performances Tuesday, October 27 and opens Sunday, November 15 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

As part of the 25th Anniversary season, Signature Theatre (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) has announced that it will produce a new video series called "Signature Voices." The series aims to capture the history, artistry and personal moments that have taken place at Signature Theatre over the past quarter century.
