The critically acclaimed Signature Theatre production of Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Obie Award-winner Mark Brokaw, has been extended by two weeks, the company announced today.

The term 'alternative facts' wasn't part of the popular lexicon when Stephen Adly Guirgis' superb drama of public morality and personal convictions, JESUS HOPPED THE 'A' TRAIN premiered in 2000, but a major point of play is how, in our legal system, a lie can be regarded as truth when believed from a different angle.

Houses on the Moon Theater Company, the New York-based not-for-profit theatre company that 'through creative workshops, original performances, and post-show discussions help communities come together by making meaningful connections through the public sharing of their untold stories,' honored R. Erin Craig and David Rothenberg and presented the 2017 Leyton Award to Save Our Streets: Bronx at its 5th Annual 'Amplify' Benefit on Monday night, October 16th, at Gotham Comedy Club. Sean Carvajal has joined the Signature Theatre production of Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Obie Award-winner Mark Brokaw. Mr. Carvajal assumes the role of Angel Cruz, which was previously played by Victor Rasuk, who has departed the production due to personal reasons.
