Broadway Palm has brought what it is calling a sci-fi musical to its stage. And I suppose that is one of many classifications that could apply to Little Shop of Horrors.

Broadway Palm's production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS brings the darkly comedic rock musical about a hungry, singing plant to life brilliantly through a series of catchy musical numbers, fantastic acting, and so much more.

Broadway Palm proudly opened the deviously delicious Little Shop of Horrors playing now through June 15, 2019! One of the longest running Off-Broadway shows Little Shop of Horrors is a Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi, smash-hit musical that has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for decades! The show's music is by master composer Alan Menken whose credits also include Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Newsies and Aladdin.

Dutch Apple emphasizes the amazing in their current production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The show is a dazzling spectacular of sight, sound, and movement.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the first publicly performed collaboration between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, first appeared on Broadway in 1982. The musical actually began its life as a short pop cantata in London, and it was modified and expanded a number of times before it appeared on Broadway. The musical is based on the story of Joseph from the Book of Genesis. In the musical, the story about Joseph is told by the Narrator, a character who exists outside the time and place in which the story takes place. It's the Narrator's job to engage the audience and draw them into the story of Joseph. Broadway World recently spoke to Erica Clare, who portrays the Narrator in the upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.

Tis the season for family, tradition, good cheer and of course "A Christmas Carol".  The Players Theatre continues their annual holiday tradition of presenting "A Christmas Carol the Musical" for the 10th year.  The production is a warm and uplifting adaptation of the classic Dickens tale that celebrates the essence of holiday spirit.  With original music by Michael Sgouros, played by a live percussion trio, the show is wrapped in the warmth of joy, suspense and a sprinkling of tender-hearted redemption.

Appropriately, two women wrote the book and music: Beth Blatt and Jenny Giering. At its core, The Mistress Cycle is a show by women for women.

Beginning today, June 14th, the theatre is going pink when it opens Legally Blonde for its summer run.
