Pacific Chorale Presents Monteverdi's Rarely-Performed VESPERS OF 1610, March 4

Pacific Chorale, conducted by Artistic Director Robert Istad, displays its considerable vocal dexterity when special guests Bach Collegium San Diego (BCSD), one of the country's premier early music ensembles, and its founder, organist Ruben Valenzuela, join the choir for a highly anticipated, historically-informed performance of Monteverdi's “Vespers of 1610,” a pillar of the Baroque music canon whose splendor and virtuosity has captivated audiences for centuries

Kennesaw State University's Bailey School Of Music To Present Annual Collage Concert, February 11

Kennesaw State University's Bailey School of Music will present the annual Collage Concert at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11. Led by Interim Director Dr. Julia Bullard, the Bailey School of Music will present the signature production for the 17th year in a row as the sole fundraising concert for music scholarships for students. The Concert offers something for all musical tastes, from symphony orchestra to jazz, opera theater, and even video game music.

First Annual Orlando Sings Choral Fest Announced

Orlando Sings is one of Central Florida’s newest professional arts organizations and has already had an exciting and successful first season.  Led by Artistic and Executive Director Dr. Andrew Minear, Orlando Sings serves as an umbrella organization for a family of singing groups including two professional ensembles, the Orlando Sings Symphonic Chorus and the Solaria Singers. This young organization has already had a great start to its first season with full and sold-out houses for each of the three concerts they have presented as well as a successful, sold-out gala fundraiser.
