The acclaimed program, sponsored by Wells Fargo, is a high school version of the Tony Awards, and allows theater students from across Washington to meet, celebrate, and honor the exceptional musical Theater Productions presented during the 2011-12 school year. The 5th Avenue Awards will be held at 7:00 PM, tonight, June 4, at The 5th Avenue Theatre.

The world-class production of Long Day's Journey Into Night comes to Portland, Oregon after playing to sold out houses for five weeks in Sydney, Australia. Artists Repertory Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company bring this Broadway-caliber international collaboration to Portland for a three-week engagement. Opening Night is August 14, 2010, with one preview performance August 13, 2010. Long Day's Journey Into Night runs August 13-September 5, 2010 at the Newmark Theatre, 1111 SW Broadway, Portland, Oregon.

Artists Repertory Theatre is delighted to announce it is hosting a very special discussion with Andrew Upton, Director of Long Day's Journey Into Night and co-Artistic Director of Sydney Theatre Company, and Allen Nause, Artists Repertory Theatre's Producing Artistic Director. Titled 'Dissolving Borders with International Theatre Collaboration,' the conversation will be moderated by Tim DuRoche, Director of Programs, at Portland World Affairs Council.

Beginning August 13, Artists Repertory Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company will bring a world-class production of EuGene O'Neill's gut-wrenching autobiographical play Long Day's Journey Into Night to Portland. So close to his own life, Long Day's Journey Into Night is a story O'Neill did not want shared until 25 years after his death.
