International Theatre Collaboration Conversation with Andrew Upton & Allen Nause, 8/16
By: Lauren Wolman Aug. 07, 2010
Artists Repertory Theatre is delighted to announce it is hosting a very special discussion with Andrew Upton, Director of Long Day's Journey Into Night and co-Artistic Director of Sydney Theatre Company, and Allen Nause, Artists Repertory Theatre's Producing Artistic Director. Titled "Dissolving Borders with InterNational Theatre Collaboration," the conversation will be moderated by Tim DuRoche, Director of Programs, at Portland World Affairs Council.
Join in a conversation about the challenges and rewards of co-producing Long Day's Journey Into Night and other interNational Theatre collaborations. Both Upton and Nause have a long history of global partnerships and will discuss how productions like Long Day's Journey Into Night play a role in furthering live art and cultural diplomacy in a changing global marketplace challenged by increasing socio-political polarization and emerging forms of media.Dissolving Borders with InterNational Theatre CollaborationA conversation with Andrew Upton and Allen Nause
