Comedic actor Eric Petersen just assumed the role of wannabe rock star, Dewey Finn, last night, November 7, 2016. The Kid Band, who perform Andrew Lloyd Webber's score live at every performance, now includes new cast members Rachel Katzke as Katie the bass player and Walden Sullivan as Lawrence the keyboardist, along with returning cast members, Brandon Niederauer as Zack the guitarist and Raghav Mehrotra as Freddy on drums. Mackenzie Ziegler ('Dance Moms') and Casey Simpson (Nickelodeon's 'Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn') hosted Lyrics For Life on Sat, Sept 10, 2016 at Symphony Space. Held on World Suicide Prevention Day, the event aims to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health. Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the nation's largest non-profit dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.

Thommie Retter, (Billy Elliot) and Retter Entertainment provide unique opportunities for aspiring young performers through This Way To Broadway, Live, a series of workshops culminating in showcase opportunities, including singing, acting, and dancing. On Saturday, December 19, 2015 a group of over 70 children including Broadway performers and friends joined together in NYC to raise their voices for peace in hopes to help end gun violence.  They created a flash mob sing-in demonstration first at Schnipper's restaurant in the heart of Broadway on 8th Avenue and 41st and then once again in Times Square.
