Caila Carter will debut her new solo jazz cabaret - In A Sentimental Mood – as part of The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series,  November 16 and 17, 2022. Playhouse Music Director, Christopher Leavy, will accompany on piano.

There will be colorful bubbles galore at the FIM Whiting Auditorium on Sept. 24 as part of FIM's September Spectacular, which includes this exciting family program. There are two performances of the Gazillion Bubble Show on Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

On Monday, September 19, pianist/singer Billy Stritch and award-winning jazz vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli combined their considerable talents for an evening of great music celebrating the legendary Mel Tormé and Ella Fitzgerald.

Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist Patti Austin will headline the annual BCO Pops Concert at the FIM Whiting Auditorium on October 1 at 7 p.m. with a FIM Flint Symphony Orchestra ensemble and guest conductor Damien Sneed. Her long-awaited Ella Fitzgerald tribute concert will benefit FIM's Black Classical Origins program.

The Apollo kicks off Apollo Comedy Club and Apollo Music Café shows, starting Thursday, October 6. Performances will take place on Apollo’s Soundstage on October 6, 7, and 8. Doors open at 9PM EST. Shows begin at 10PM EST. Tickets start at $26.50.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present vocalist and pianist Steve Ross in a special new show “Autumn Serenades” on Monday, October 24 at 7:00 PM. Ross will sing a few mellow seasonal ballads, including “September in the Rain,” “Autumn Leaves,” “September Song,” and “When October Goes.”
