WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD? Comes to the Flight Theater

This tragicomic play follows each of the words in that joke as a character as they try to figure out their meaning and reach the 'real world'. A philosophical quest with LGBTQ+ themes rooted in the politics of Trump's America, this show enjoyed a sold-out, critically-acclaimed run in London last year! WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD? opens June 8 as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival at the Flight Theater at The Complex Hollywood - 6476 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90038.

MAMMA MIA At Granbury Opera House from Today-March 24

Granbury Theatre Company will continue its 2019 Broadway on the Brazos season with the musical Mamma Mia! on February 22-March 24, 2019, at the historic Granbury Opera House in Downtown Granbury.

Mint Theate Presents THE PRICE OF THOMAS SCOTT

Meet Miss Baker has begun, with previews of The Price of Thomas Scott, directed by Mint Theater Artistic Director Jonathan Bank. Performances began January 24th and continue through March 23rd at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street). Opening Night is set for February 20th.

Mint announced "Meet Miss Baker," Mint's latest effort in its ongoing commitment to create new life for neglected women playwrights. From Pulitzer-Prize winning plays by Zona Gale and Susan Glaspell, to forgotten works by Rachel Crothers, Cicely Hamilton, Githa Sowerby, Hazel Ellis, Maurine Dallas Watkins, Lillian Hellman, Rose Franken and Dawn Powell, Mint has long been a champion of neglected plays by women. Up next is English playwright Elizabeth Baker, who will receive three productions, each getting their American premiere, over the next two years.

First Unity Launches ARTS46/4 with a Five Month Arts Initiative

First Unity announces the launch of ARTS46/4. Named for First Unity's location on 46th Avenue and 4th Street North in St. Petersburg, ARTS46/4 is an independent-yet-integrated venue / producing partner to bridge the Arts community with First Unity Spiritual Campus.  In April, ARTS46/4 will kick-off with a five month arts initiative, which includes both a dedicated Arts component in all the Sunday services, and producing a series of public special events featuring well-known members of Tampa Bay's thriving Arts community.      

Wilmette's ATC to Stage Stephen Sondheims' ASSASSINS, Begin. 11/9

The Actors Training Center (ATC) at the Wilmette Theatre will present the Stephen Sondheim musical, 'ASSASSINS', for a limited 4 performance run beginning Saturday, November 9, 2013. ATC's Repertory Company brings together the most talented young musical theatre actors who have proven themselves ready to handle professional level performances typically reserved for adult actors.
