AMC Networks announced today from the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour spring premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including the highly anticipated debuts of AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond and three-part series Quiz, a third season of BBC AMERICA's award-winning Killing Eve, the fourth and final season of IFC's acclaimed series Brockmire and the return of SundanceTV's psychological thriller Liar. As previously announced, AMC's Better Call Saul season five debuts with a special two-night premiere event on Sunday, February 23 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9c and Monday, February 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/8c and the new anthology series Dispatches From Elsewhere premieres Sunday, March 1 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9c. In addition, the next series in BBC AMERICA's Emmy® Award-winning Planet franchise, Seven Worlds, One Planet will air as a multi-network event across BBC AMERICA, AMC, IFC and SundanceTV this Saturday, January 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/8c.

AMC announced today that it had renewed “Eli Roth's History of Horror” for a second season of six episodes. The second season, which will also appear on AMC Networks' horror streaming service, Shudder, will feature episodes devoted to monsters, evil children, witches, body horror, houses of hell and “Eli's Terrifying Twelve.” Season one reached nearly 6 million viewers on AMC in Nielsen live+7 ratings, the episodes later appeared on Shudder, and extended cuts of the interviews in the show were released as a podcast, which became the #2 podcast in the TV & Film genre – a true original programming trifecta.

Miramax announced today that they have acquired film rights to Lauren Iungerich's screenplay I WON'T BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS.Iungerich is set to direct, as well as produce, alongside Eli Roth and Roger Birnbaum, under their newly-formed Arts District Entertainment, Jamie Dooner, and Miramax's Bill Block.  Jennie Frisbie, Michael Besman and Miramax's Michael Lachance will Executive Produce.  Production is slated for June and will be supervised by Lachance. The film marks Iungerich's feature film directorial debut.

Director Tara Wood has successfully reclaimed the rights to the authorized Quentin Tarantino documentary feature, “21 Years: Quentin Tarantino”. The film, a celebration of Tarantino's works-to-date, looks at the passion behind the worldwide box office dominator. The lightening rod that is Tarantino's career illuminates the discussion of changes in the industry.

'The Girl in the Spider's Web' will premiere at the 13th Rome Film Fest. The festival's opening night film will be 'Bad Times at the El Royale.' Other films in the lineup include Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet's 'Beautiful Boy,' 'Halloween,' and 'The Miseducation of Cameron Post.' See the full lineup below!

Beyond Fest, the highest-attended genre film festival in the US, is excited to announce its complete slate of 2018 programming featuring 46 features and 24 West Coast premieres of cinematic excess. Prolific helmer Anthony Hemingway will be the recipient of the 2018 HollyShorts Film Festival Indie Maverick Award. He will be presented the Award during the festival's opening night celebration this Thursday August 9 at the TCL Chinese Theater. Past HollyShorts Indie Maverick honorees include Paul Haggis, David Lynch, Eli Roth, Joe Carnahan and Matthew Modine. The festival's opening night celebration will be hosted by Ben Lyons host of 'The Oscars: All Access' for Oscar.com and ABC News.
