IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU has seen the most on-stage proposals and even weddings of any show this season. Given its subject matter, it makes sense. Where better to get engaged than a musical about marriage? Below, take a look back at some of those sweet moments in this highlights reel!

It Shoulda Been You plays its final performance on Broadway, today Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street). In honor of the show's journey, BroadwayWorld takes you a look back at its run on the Great White Way!

With just days left before the company takes their final bows, BroadwayWorld has asked them to reflect back on their Broadway journeys. Check out what they'll take from their experience below:

Cardinal Theatricals presents the Off Broadway premiere of Mrs. Smith's Broadway Cat-tacular!, an all-singing, all-dancing 'demented cabaret on acid,' created and performed by New York based writer/actor and performance artist David Hanbury. Joining Mrs. Smith onstage will be her two 'Broadway Boys' Brandon Haagenson and Ken Lear. Directed by Andrew Rasmussen, performances began on July 10th at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenue). The Original Broadway cast album for It Shoulda Been You was recorded by Ghostlight Records and will be available for purchase digitally on Friday, August 14, 2015 and physically on Friday, September 18, 2015. Licensing for future productions of the hilarious, crowd-pleasing musical will be available through Music Theatre International (MTI). The Wednesday, July 15, 2015 matinee performance of It Shoulda Been You will be filmed for the Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts and preserved for the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive. The 17th annual Broadway Barks fundraiser - the star-studded dog and cat adoption event to benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore - was held July 11 in Shubert Alley. Today's line-up will include performances from the casts of STOMP, FUERZA BRUTA, WICKED (Caroline Bowman, Kara Lindsay, Matt Shingledecker), and It Shoulda Been You (Farah Alvin, Jillian Louis, Edward Hibbert, Anne L. Nathan, Adam Heller).

The festivities begin at 3:00 p.m. where you meet all the adoptable dogs and cats; celebrity presentations of adoptable pets will take place between 5:00-6:30 p.m. This year's event will be co-hosted by Bernadette Peters and Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon, HBO's 'Girls'). The event is free and open to the public.

Later this week, 106.7 LITE FM will kick off its highly-anticipated, 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2015 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning July 9 at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. Thursday's line-up will include performances from the casts of STOMP, FUERZA BRUTA, WICKED (Caroline Bowman, Kara Lindsay, Matt Shingledecker), and It Shoulda Been You (Farah Alvin, Jillian Louis, Edward Hibbert, Anne L. Equality rang through the United States this morning with the Supreme Court's historic decision - and Broadway's IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU is joining in on the celebration.

Following several on-stage engagements at Broadway's new musical comedy, It Shoulda Been You, a young Norwalk, Connecticut couple wed on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre after the Saturday, May 30, 2015 matinee performance. Matt Harter and his fiancee Jordan Reuck, a life-long Broadway fan, exchanged vows before the entire Shoulda company and audience, and BroadwayWorld has photos from the couple's big day below!
