Jérémie Rhorer Returns to Théâtre des Champs-Elysées to Conduct LE NOZZE DI FIGARO

Jérémie Rhorer-Founder and Music Director of Le Cercle de l'Harmonie-returns to Théâtre des Champs-Elysées to conduct American filmmaker James Gray's new production of Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, November 26-December 7, 2019. The production marks Rhorer's fifth Mozart opera with Théâtre des Champs-Elysées and Gray's operatic directing debut.

Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment, Joseph Houston & William Whelton for Hope Mill Theatre and Timothy Cratchit Development LLC have announced the full cast for THE ASTONISHING TIMES OF TIMOTHY CRATCHIT, a new musical with book by Allan Knee (the writer of Hope Aria's 2017 hit musical, Little Women), and music and lyrics by newcomer Andre Catrini. Ryan Kopel stars in the title role of Timothy. He is joined by Paul Greenwood, Michael Matus, Sammy Graham and Helen Pearson who star as Scrooge, Grimaldi, Lucy and Mrs Linden/Miss Poole respectively.

This season marks not only the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth, but also 30 years since the founding of the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique (ORR), one of the three ensembles that make up the trailblazing Monteverdi Choir and Orchestras (MCO). Rose Theatre Kingston Announces Full Cast For THE SNOW QUEEN

Rose Theatre Kingston today announces the full cast for its festive new version of the Hans Christian Andersen classic The Snow Queen written by Ciaran McConville, who returns to the theatre following last year's successful adaptation of Hansel & Gretel. McConville directs a cast of local young actors from Rose Youth Theatre led by a team of professional actors including Helena Blackman (The Snow Queen), Roger May (Dad/Father Christmas), Davina Moon (Freya), Parisa Shahmir (Gerda) and Jack Wolfe (Kai). The production opens on 13 December 2019, with previews from 6 December, and runs until 5 January 2020.

Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center presents celebrated American tenor Paul Appleby in Schumann's Dichterliebe for Voice and Piano, Op. 48 (1840) with pianist Ken Noda on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 7:30pm at Alice Tully Hall. Part of a concert titled 1891: Brahms's Clarinet Quintet, the program also includes Schubert's Fantasie in F minor for Piano, Four Hands, D. 940, Op. 103 (1828) and Brahms's Quintet in B minor for Clarinet, Two Violins, Viola, and Cello, Op. 115 (1891) performed by pianist and Artistic Director Wu Han, violinists Aaron Boyd and Francisco Fullana, violinist and violist Yura Lee, cellist Keith Robinson, and clarinetist David Shifrin.
