Friday the 13th is widely considered to be an unlucky day. The National Theatre, however, is making sure that Friday, July 13, 2018 is a lucky one for theatergoers as tickets for the pre-Broadway world premiere of the new musical comedy BEETLEJUICE will go on sale that day at 10:00 AM.

Producers Carmen Pavlovic (Global Creatures) and Roy Furman have announced additional casting for the new musical King Kong. Joining the previously announced Christiani Pitts, (A Bronx Tale) as Ann Darrow, and Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!) as Carl Denham, will be Erik Lochtefeld (Misery, Metamorphoses) as Lumpy.

This is the final Cabaret Festival for the current artistic director, Ali Mc Gregor.

In this contemporary tale of her journey, she finds the strength to recover and begin her life anew. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, King Kong, will arrive on Broadway in 2018, but before it does, the musical will get a developmental lab this fall. According to an Equity casting notice, a lab will take place this November in preparation for its upcoming Broadway run.
