Netflix has announced the voice cast for 'Green Eggs and Ham,' based on the beloved book by Dr. Seuss. The upcoming animated series follows opposites "Guy" and "Sam" as they venture out on a road trip to save an endangered animal from a far off zoo. Along the way they learn to try new things like hope, friendship, and a certain delectable dish.

The Actors Fund will hold its Annual Gala on Monday, April 29, 2019. The evening will celebrate Tony Award-winning playwright and actor Harvey Fierstein; Chairman & CEO of the John Gore Organization and Tony Award-winning producer and acclaimed director John Gore; International President of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and International labor leader and community advocate Matthew D. The one-and-only Isaac Mizrahi - celebrated fashion icon, singer, raconteur - will bring his singular talent, humor and charm to the McCarter Theater Center stage (91 University Place, Princeton, NJ) for one-night-only on Friday, March 1st as he kicks off a national tour with a brand new show, I&ME, in conjunction with the release of his memoir I.M., to be published by Flatiron Books on February 26, it has been announced by the tour's producer Arnold Engelman.

Organizers of the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival announce that the 2019 Fringe will open on Tuesday, September 10 and run through Saturday, September 21. This extends the annual multi-arts festival to 12 days, following 2018's extension from 10 to 11 days.

This morning, Film Independent announced that Aubrey Plaza (Ingrid Goes West, Legion, Parks & Recreation) will host the 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The Spirit Awards are the primary fundraiser for Film Independent's year-round programs, which cultivate the careers of emerging filmmakers and promote diversity in the industry. Nominees were announced by Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians, Captain Marvel, Mary Queen of Scots) and Molly Shannon (Divorce, Private Life, Other People) at a press conference on November 16. Best Feature nominees include Eighth Grade, First Reformed, If Beale Street Could Talk, Leave No Trace and You Were Never Really Here. The show will broadcast live exclusively on IFC at 2:00 pm PT/ 5:00 pm ET on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

The title is a reference to the U.S. Department of Immigration classification of the same name that gives priority to visa-seekers who demonstrate 'extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics.' Lampaert currently holds citizenship in three different countries (France, UK and USA), most recently becoming a U.S. citizen after his marriange to a 'nice lady' from Pittsburgh (this will make more sense once you've listened to the album). Lampaert's relationship with the audience on his album is teasingly confrontational, but he skirts each issue so charmingly that he never completely ventures into heel territory.
