Following an unprecedented thirty show run, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, the acclaimed and award-winning cabaret series, continued on Sunday, Sept 15 at 54 Below. Sondheim Unplugged is currently celebrating the third year of it's smash run, having begun this journey of celebrating Sondheim in July of 2010.

The SHOP-SHMOOZE-LAUGH event benefited the fair-trade jewelry initiative of SAME SKY (founder Francine LeFrak), an organization that offers employment to women living with HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Cinderella's Laure Osnes and her husband Nathan Johnson serenaded Ms. Channing with Before the Parade Passes By.

Keith Lockhart led the Boston Pops in an evening concert in the Shed on August 16, with celebrated pianist, vocalist, and archivist of the great American Songbook, Michael Feinstein. The evening featured some of the most beloved tunes in the American songbook repertoire. Special guests included Broadway and television star Cheyenne Jackson and actress and singer Faith Prince. From 1941 to 1976 New York City subway and bus riders were treated to more than 9,000 posters of 200 attractive young women all dubbed 'Miss Subways' for the month. The women on the posters were the faces of New York. They were wartime nurses in the 1940s, college girls studying to become teachers in the 1950s, and secretaries who dreamed of singing careers in the 1960s. These amazing girls shared their stories and the hopes and dreams of their generation at the legendary Friars Club. Friar Stewie Stone created some extremely funny moments as he interviewed Miss Subways, and 'The Copa Boys' performed some Four Seasons tunes.
