For the third year in a row Marilyn Maye brings back her exciting 'By Request' format for a week of raucous revelry after ringing out 2013 with back-to-back shows on New Year's Eve. Maye's remarkable performances will be accompanied by pianist/conductor Billy Stritch, bassist Tom Hubbard, and drummer Ray Marchica. The party doesn't stop until Sunday January 12. 2013 Female Vocalist of the Year from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs, Stacy Sullivan has appeared in venues around the world, from The Brasserie Zedel in London to The Cafe Carlyle in New York. She has recorded five albums for the LML Music label, including her latest, "It's a Good Day," winner of the 2013 Lamott/Friedman Award and voted one of the Top Ten Recordings of 2012 by Talkin'Broadway. Stacy can also be heard regularly on Sirius Radio's "Siriously SINATRA," and NPR's "Piano Jazz Rising Stars."

The popular Musical Mondays series continues at Le Cirque, and for the holiday season Jazz & Cabaret performer Cole Rumbough and his trio entertained in the famed restaurants cafe. Cole grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut and pursued singing as his passion. In high school, he toured Europe with his church choir and a prestigious national choir called 'Sound of America,' made up of 80 of the best high school singers in the country of 2007, representing 45 states. At 22, Cole is currently a senior at The New School University in Manhattan majoring in Jazz Voice and History. He has appeared at numerous private and charity galas in New York, the Hamptons and Palm Beach. In August of 2012, he was a winner of the Jazz Arts Forum Vocal Competition and performed in the Dobbs Ferry Jazz Festival.

On December 21 at 2:00PM in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute presented A Charlie Brown Christmas in a special holiday Family Concert with The New York Pops and Music Director Steven Reineke. The staged concert version of Charles M. Schulz's iconic television special brought the beloved Peanuts characters to life through special choreography performed by dancers from New York Theatre Ballet and child actors from TADA! Youth Theater. Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Sesame Street) narrates the heart-warming story, underscored by the music of Vince Guaraldi, performed by The New York Pops and Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA. Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch return to Bemelmans at The Carlyle Hotel this month with their evening of swinging standards. The two performers, who have performed extensively on their own, gained national exposure together as the host and musical director of the wildly popular open mic, Cast Party, which celebrates talent every Monday at Birdland in NYC, and tours nationally. During their November run at Bemelmans, the duo received critical acclaim, and made news when rock legend Bono joined them in an impromptu performance. Cohan Award at their 18th annual Awards Ceremony last night, December 11th. The invitation-only event, hosted by ASCAP Foundation President Paul Williams, was held at the Allen Room, Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Ron Abel was music director and Barry Kleinbort directed.

Frank Sinatra Jr. and Steve Tyrell headlined "Come Fly with Me: Celebrate Sinatra's Songwriter"-a special program honoring the 100th anniversary of the birth of legendary songwriter Sammy Cahn. The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and New Jersey Performing Arts Center co-presented the one-day-only program on Sunday, November 24, at NJPAC in Newark.

The Museum of the City of New York just presented legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim with its Louis Auchincloss Prize at a gala dinner that included a musical tribute featuring Tony Award winners and nominees. Cabaret! will took place last night, November 19th; it was a rare opportunity to recognize a living legend, and in an intimate setting. Singing Sondheim favorites were some of musical theater's most talented performers, including Gregg Edelman, Harvey Evans, Judy Kaye, Howard McGillin, Victoria Mallory, and Sarah Stiles under the direction of Michael Montel and music director Larry Yurman. The event honored Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang and President of the General Counsel at Dramatists Play Service, Stephen Sultan. The evening featured performances by Rachel deBenedet (Catch Me If You Can, Addams Family), Alan Paul (Grease, Oliver!, Manhattan Transfer), Michele Ragusa (Urinetown, Ragtime, A Class Act, Adrift in Macao), and Alton F.
