The show, billed 'A Night of Delusions of Grandeur' featured high belting, comedy, popular songs, medleys, musical theater numbers, a lightning round - everything you would want in a variety show about a performer who thinks she's God's gift to mankind. It's always exciting when talented young singers make their debuts at a well known New York City cabaret venue, and this coming weekend, on Sunday and Monday, August 16 and 17, at 7 PM each evening, 22 year old Nicole Coffaro, a recent graduate of Chapman University in Orange, CA, will be doing just that! Her show, simply titled 'Nicole Coffaro at Don't Tell Mama,' will feature Drew Wutke on piano and will reflect her eclectic tastes in music.
Cabaret star William Blake (Echoes of Etta, Macy's parade) will come aboard Mostly Sondheim as resident co-host for the month of August. Blake, whose Etta James tribute show was recorded last week at Joe's Pub, joins host Colleen Harris and Musical Director Drew Wutke.

Michelle Dowdy (Hairspray, A Brass Act) will come aboard Mostly Sondheim as resident co-host for the month of July. Dowdy, whose recent solo show has dazzled audiences at 54 Below and The Metropolitan Room, joins host Colleen Harris and Musical Director Drew Wutke.
INTO THE SUN follows three young English friends who go off to the trenches of World War I. It is the saga of the soldiers, their families, and their lovers - and the way that war changes a generation. The protagonist distills the arc of his generation, moving from initial enthusiasm for the war to public protest against it. Loosely based on the lives of several British War Poets, the musical features some songs that take their lyrics directly from poems by Wilfred Owen, Rupert Brooke, Siegfried Sassoon and others. The score blends the styles of pop, rock, and contemporary folk.
