Mostly Sondheim, The Duplex's long-running Friday night open mic honoring the music of the theater, concludes its record-breaking 12 year run this Friday, April 1st at 11:30pm. 

On Thursday, April 7th a cast of Broadway favorites will once again bring the popular instagram/twitter trend of #tbt to the stage of Feinstein's/54 Below with #tbtLIVE Throwback Thursday: The Concert. This will be the 4th edition of the popular series.

Cesar A. Rocha is a casting director at Telsey + Co. He just completed casting on Cirque Du Soleil's PARAMOUR starting previews in April. B-Side Productions is proud to announce the second annual B-Side Productions' New American Musical Award for composers, lyricists, book writers and musical theatre artists. This developmental prize aims to resource early and mid-career musical theater writers with the opportunity to further develop a work in progress. B-Side Productions will accept traditional book musicals, concept pieces, and plays with music, but most importantly, submissions that challenge the traditional forms of musical theater, create community, and dare to be unique/messy/irreverent.

Kevin Smith Kirkwood, who is now appearing on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots, is bringing CLASSIC WHITNEY: ALIVE! back to New York by popular demand. Oklahoma City University has amassed an immense pool of Broadway talent, currently represented this season in Allegiance (Manna Nichols, Belinda Allyn), On Your Feet (Jennifer Sanchez), Shuffle Along (Richard Riaz Yoder), Les Miserables (Matt McMahan), Matilda (Lauralyn McClelland), among others.  These artists, along with other OCU alumni & friends, will be performing in AN EVENING WITH THE STARS, a cabaret benefiting OCUNYC (OCU's New York City alumni chapter), Monday, January 25th at 9:00pm.
