Mile Square Theatre, Hudson County's leading professional theatre, presents its annual 10-minute play festival, 7th Inning Stretch: 7 10-minute plays about baseball.

PlayFest Santa Barbara, in partnership with the Santa Barbara Public Library, and with the support of a Community Arts Grant from the City of Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara County Office of Arts and Culture, presents the Sixth Annual Festival of New Plays. The staged reading of Steve Karp's Honoree Play, REUNION, will take place in the Santa Barbara Central Library on March 10 at 7p.m. REUNION was selected as the 2018 Honoree play following an international competition. E. Bonnie Lewis and Ken Gilbert of DramaDogs will perform the roles of He and She. Maggie Mixsell of Speaking of Stories, will narrate. Anna Jensen, former Ensemble Theatre dramaturge and current co-host of Theatrixsb podcast, will moderate a post reading talkback between the audience and the playwright. The reading is free.

North Coast Repertory Theatre is proud to welcome back Randy Noojin, as he takes the stage as America's beloved folksinger/activist, Pete Seeger, January 29, 2018. Eisemann Center Presents SEEGER, a multimedia solo show written and performed by Randy Noojin at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson, Texas on Saturday, February 2, 2018 at 7:30 pm. This show is part of Spotlight Artists shows, starring Randy Noojin, who appeared in Hard Travelin' with Woody at the Eisemann Center in 2016.

Award-winning playwright and published author Jennifer Fell Hayes, mesmerizing new play, Rosemary and Time is set to run at the Paradise Factory Main Stage February 2 through February 17, 2018. Dramatic Publishing Company has announced that it has acquired the publishing and licensing rights to the all-new Evil Dead The Musical (High School Version). The world-premiere production occurred at Stagedoor Manor, Loch Sheldrake, N.Y., this summer.

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) has announced details for the fourth production of its 42nd season, Black Pearl Sings! This intimate play with music, from playwright Frank Higgins, will be helmed by Thomas W. Jones II. Black Pearl Sings! begins on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 and plays through Sunday, December 17, 2017 with an opening night on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Lyceum Space Theatre at San Diego REP in Horton Plaza.
