Gilroy (The Subject Was Roses), is a selection of the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), making its New York City debut at the PTC Performance Space, tonight, July 15 - July 21.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the full lineup of productions, concerts, readings and special events for its 11th annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 7th and continue through July 27th.

Mitch Albom's Tuesdays with Morrie and the new musical Nine Wives (by Douglas J. Cohen and Dan Elish) will play Stage 2 in the Bok Gallery. The Youth Theatre will present the Tony-winning Spring Awakening.

The Most Happy Fella, the NY Philharmonic's Sweeney Todd), and Kyle Barisich (The Phantom of the Opera) will headline 25th Anniversary Season Gala on Saturday May 24 on the TriArts Mainstage.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced additional productions and readings for its 2014 Festival. This year's Festival will begin July 7 and continue through July 27. An additional slate of concerts and other events will be announced shortly.

Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC), dedicated to advancing the art and business of live entertainment, held their 28th Annual MAC Awards celebration last evening at BB King's Blues club in Times Square. Winners in twenty-five categories were announced. The show was hosted by the vivacious singer, band leader, multiple MAC Award winner and 2014 Nominee, Terese Genecco. The gala was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, the current MAC President. Don Rebic served as Musical Director. The Billie Holiday Theatre continues its 42nd Season Generations United with the World Premiere of Maid's Door by Writers Guild Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Cheryl L. Davis; the show will be directed by the Theatre's Artistic Director Jackie Alexander. Opening Night will be Thursday, March 6; and the show will run through Sunday, March 30. Performances are Thursday-Saturday at 8pm with matinees on Saturday at 3pm and Sunday at 4pm. A discounted rate of $15 is available for Children 15 and younger, Seniors, and Students with a valid ID.
