Lynn Henderson to Perform at the Metropolitan Room, 11/20
Big band vocalist Lynn Henderson will return to The Metropolitan Room with her cabaret act on Thursday, November 20th to celebrate the release of her new CD, If We Only Have Love. The album traces milestones in life and is available on her website www.lynnhendersonsinger.com and on iTunes .
Pianist and award winning song writer Douglas J. Cohen will share vocals with Henderson and they will be accompanied by Robert Sabin on bass and Sherrie Maricle on drums. The performance gets underway at 7 pm.
Henderson has been performing for audiences in New York and Connecticut for the past several years. She will be singing selections from 'The Great American Songbook" that are fun, heartbreaking and thoughtful.
"My new album features songs that are fan favorites. In fact, they suggested that I record them. Creating it has been a labor of love for all of us," said Henderson.
