Two-time Emmy Award-winner Dorothy Lyman, renowned for her acting and directing on All My Children, Mama's Family, and The Nanny, and in films like Blow and The Departed, will bring her powerful play, Gladstone Hollow, to Westchester County's Schoolhouse Theater from June 13-30.

"People surprise you all the time. Just when you think you have them all figured out." Bart DeLorenzo directs the West Coast premiere of the acclaimed off-Broadway hit Too Much Sun by Nicky Silver (Broadway's The Lyons), presented by Indie Chi Productions in a guest production at the Odyssey Theatre. Previews take place on Feb. 28 and March 1, with opening night set for March 2 and performances continuing through April 21. 

The popular theatre podcast, Your Program Is Your Ticket, premiered their new Vodcast version earlier this month. Each episode showcases a variety of theatre artists from Broadway to Off-Off Broadway as well as National and International theatre artists. The Vodcast is hosted by New York based playwright/creator Sean Chandler and co-hosted by actor/producer David Leeper.

Award-winning playwright Sean Chandler, recently interviewed two-time Emmy Award-Winning Actress, Dorothy Lyman, and Blue Bloods Series Regular, Abigail Hawk for the popular theatre podcast, Your Program Is Your Ticket. The podcast discussion revolves around Lyman's new play, In the Bleak Midwinter, the inspiration for the play, play development and collaboration.

Jeanne Lauren Smith and Karen Eleanor Wight are set for a reading of LEAVE PHILADELPHIA, NEVER, written by Michael Wells-Oakes. The family drama will be directed by Cynthia Granville and presented by the 29th Street Playwrights Collective New Work Series on Monday October 1, at the Bernie Wohl Center, 647 Columbus Ave, at 7:30pm.

Yonder Window Theatre Company and Parity Productions have announced that writer/performer Romy Nordlinger's Places is among the selected performances for this year's East to Edinburgh at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director). Places will play 6 performances in July before traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland for the 2017 Fringe Festival where it will have 25 performances over the month of August (4th - 27th).

Downtown Urban Arts Festival (DUAF), an annual multi-disciplinary arts event -- with cultural offerings in theater, film, music and poetry -- presented in various downtown Manhattan venues, kicked off on Saturday, April 8th with a sold-out concert from legendary chart-topper Lisa Lisa ('I Wonder If I Take You Home,' 'Can You Feel the Beat,' 'All Cried Out,' 'Head to Toe,' 'Lost in Emotion') at Joe's Pub at The Public.
