The Board of Directors of Newark Arts has named Felicia A. Swoope as its new Executive Director. Ms. Swoope, a former dancer and producer, has held leadership positions in major New York City arts organizations and brings a range of administrative, artistic, and programming expertise to the post. She was selected after a national search facilitated by Arts Consulting Group.

The Prince Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announced that Osh Ghanimah has received The Prince Fellowship and Lawryn LaCroix has received the Prince/TTLP Fellowship, formerly known as The T. Fellowship. The late Broadway producer and director Harold Prince created the program to usher in the next generation of creative producers.

The T. Fellowship has officially been renamed The Prince Fellowship to honor the legacy, career and memory of the producer, director and T Fellowship founder Harold Prince.

Donna Walker-Kuhne Receives LPTW's First Rachel Crothers Leadership Award

The League of Professional Theatre Women (Kelli Lynn Harrison and Catherine Porter, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been leading the gender parity conversation and championing women in the professional theatre for over 35 years, is pleased to bestow their inaugural Rachel Crothers Leadership Award to Donna Walker-Kuhne, founder and CEO of Walker Communications. 

Carolyn Dorfman Dance, a premiere modern dance company based in New Jersey and New York City, will appear at NJPAC for two performances on Saturday, April 6, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 7, at 3:00 p.m. as part of the Jersey Moves! Festival of Dance Series. The acclaimed company will celebrate more than three decades of work by their founding artistic director and choreographer Carolyn Dorfman in a program entitled "Love Life Dance."
