Fall is coming to the mountains, and the Flat Rock Playhouse is prepared to help audiences stay warm with the upcoming Music on the Rock Concert: Disco! Featuring hits that will have audiences doing the hustle and jumping on that soul train, Disco will showcase the music of The Bee Gees, Kool & the Gang, the Village People, KC and the Sunshine Band, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor and more! Rather than just Stayin' Alive, audiences can expect to catch the Night Fever and Get Down On It in Celebration of this vivacious, infectious, and remarkable musical genre.

Lorin Latarro will direct an industry presentation of the dark comedy, ALIVE! The Zombie Musical on September 28. Leading the show are Betsy Wolfe (Waitress), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Lauren Zakrin (Great Comet), and Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music).

La Jolla Playhouse has announced that Jeanna de Waal will portray the title role in its upcoming world-premiere musical Diana, by the Tony Award-winning Memphis team of Joe DiPietro (book and lyrics) and David Bryan (music and lyrics), directed by Playhouse Artistic Director and 2017 Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Tony nomineeKelly Devine. The production will run February 19 - March 31, 2019 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre. The complete cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.

This Fall Live @ Benaroya Hall demonstrates its commitment to supporting emerging artists with a series of four artists on the rise: Royal, Springs, Beving and Micarelli. The Live @ Benaroya Hall season continues through December and into 2019 with four added concerts: Brickman, The Tenors, The English Beat and Bowie. Tickets to those shows recently went on sale and good seats are available for all concerts in the lineup. More shows for the Spring of 2019 will be announced in late January. 92nd Street Y brings its famous programs out onto Lexington Avenue for New Yorkers of all ages to enjoy at the Annual 92Y Street Fest. The FREE outdoor event takes place Sunday, September 30, from 12-5 pm on Lexington Avenue between 79th and 94th Streets.
