ACT Contemporary Theatre announced today the cast and creative team for their 48th production of the beloved classic, A Christmas Carol. Riverside Opera Company's free performance of ROC Black Voices, honoring African-American Music with performances of Broadway, Jazz and spiritual tunes, is Saturday, July 15, 3 p.m.- 4 p.m. at Conference House Park, 7455 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10307.  Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

The 313 Series Partnership will include such classic Blue Note titles as Thad Jones’ Detroit-New York Junction (1956), Donald Byrd’s Electric Byrd (1970), and Elvin Jones’ Genesis (1971), …as well as a first-ever vinyl reissue of Kenny Cox and The Contemporary Jazz Quintet’s Multidirection (1969).

Celebrating Black History Month, Tribecarts presents a performance of Black Voices, features Black musicians and vocalists who have performed around the globe. Tribecarts Black Voices is Sunday, February 26th at 3pm at St. Mark's Church, Manhattan.  Admission is a $15 suggested donation at the door and free for students and children.
