Single and group tickets now are on sale for the new musical 'Not Wanted on the Voyage,' the latest work by award-winning Broadway writers Neil Bartram and Brian Hill. The production will be presented July 15 through Aug. 8 by the American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University.

On Monday, May 24, Northwestern University students, faculty, alumni and theatre professionals from across the country will sing (and a few will dance) the praises of School of Communication theatre faculty member Dominic Missimi's 30 years of service. The star-studded benefit performance also launches the University's new Dominic Missimi Fund for Music Theatre.

Northwestern University has added a revised version of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN to their Summer Music Theatre Festival. CHARLIE BROWN will be performed July 1 through August 8.
As previously announced a musical tribute to Tony Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz will be performed with vocalists Capathia Jenkins ('Caroline, Or Change') and Shoshana Bean ('Wicked'), Tony-nominated composer and lyricist Craig Carnelia, Grammy Award-nominated composer and lyricist Andrew Lippa, and Grammy Award-winning Nashville singer and songwriter Lari White.

I may be the only Chicago theater critic of a certain age who has never seen "The Christmas Schooner." After its initial production by the Music Theatre program at Northwestern University in 1993, directed by Dominic Missimi, the show debuted at the old Bailiwick Repertory Theatre in 1996 and ran for thirteen holiday seasons, an extremely impressive track record, indeed.....
