NYCO & NYTF To Produce World Premiere Of DEAR ERICH

New York City Opera has announced that it will produce the world premiere of the award-winning jazz composer/pianist Ted Rosenthal's DEAR ERICH.  This new jazz opera, to be co-produced with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, will open Wednesday, January 9 and will play four performances only through Sunday, January 13 at the Edmond J. Safra Hall at 36 Battery Place, in lower Manhattan.

Utah Symphony Presents Festive Holiday Programming

This holiday season, the Utah Symphony presents a jam-packed program that will entertain kids of all ages from one to 92. Between the magnificence of a 2,000-voice audience sing-a-long with Handel's "Messiah," to show stoppers Celtic Woman and Portland's "Little Orchestra," Pink Martini, with guests vocalists The von Trapps and NPR's Ari Shapiro, there is something to dazzle everyone this Christmas season. Live Arts' Fresh Tracks Program Presents Five Emerging Choreographers

Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H.
