Olivia Newton-John, best known to theatre fans as the star of the iconic 1978 film adaptation of the musical, Grease, has passed away at the age of 73.

Academy Award winning producer Joseph Feury may be best known for his work on groundbreaking films like “Down & Out in America”, “What Sex Am I?” “Nobody's Child,” and “Baghdad ER”, but in recent years he's turned his attention to the canvas. Michael Douglas, Elaine May, and Lee Grant are proud to present the first complete retrospective of his work, on display at The National Arts Club through October.

 Returning to the Okoboji Summer Theatre Stage for his third year in a row, award-winning film and television actor Jay Huguley will star in Neil Simon's "I Oughta Be In Pictures," Simon's Broadway play, which premiered in 1980. Huguley most recently performed in the Okoboji's 60th Anniversary Production of "Boeing-Boeing," the 60s era farce comedy, last summer.

Her arrival complicates his relationship with his girlfriend, Steph (played by Tracie Higgins).

BPA Theatre School is now taking registrations for the Spring 2017 Break Camps and Spring 2017 Quarter. Inspiring the kind of creativity, grace, and empathy that enrich every aspect of life, BPA Theatre School's spring camps and classes for Pre-K through Adult yield artistic benefits for both hobbyists and career actors.

Tony Award-winning actress Dinah Manoff is teaching The Actor's Tool Belt, a rotational series of classes through BPA Theatre School. Manoff brings over 30 years of experience acting, directing, and casting to the six-hour monthly workshops, which also offer a great schedule for those who don't have time to commit to a weekly class. Workshops encompass a range of instruction, from developing basic acting skills to selecting appropriate material for auditions.

BPA Theatre School opens registration for the Fall 2016 Quarter, with enrollment beginning August 19.

Alison Smyth, an Ottawa-born actress who now resides in Toronto, returns to the Classic Theatre Festival this June and July to play Libby Tucker in Neil Simon's I OUGHT TO BE IN PICTURES.
