For the week of April 29, 2013, "ABC World News with Diane Sawyer" averaged 7.31 million Total Viewers and a 1.5 rating/7 share/1.78 million in Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research

The smash musical, which received unanimous raves from critics and audiences alike, broke all box-office records at the 47th Street Theatre and won spots on the Top Ten Lists of Time Magazine and the Associated Press, begins its hiatus in order to make room for The Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre's own season, as required by the show's lease agreement with the theatre.

Shakespeare Theatre Company's WILL ON THE HILL Set for 5/6

The bipartisan favorite of both theatre and political fans, Will on the Hill returns to the Shakespeare Theatre Company this spring. This year's Will on the Hill is marked by a performance of Toil and Trouble, an original play by Peter Byrne written with assistance from The West Wing Writers Group. Will on the Hill will be directed by STC Associate Director Alan Paul and take place on Monday, May 6, 2013, in Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). The evening begins with a VIP cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner immediately following the performance.

During the first quarter of 2013 "ABC World News with Diane Sawyer" averaged 8.25 million Total Viewers and a 1.8 rating/7 share/2.15 million among Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research.

ABC Honored with Two Prestigious Peabody Awards

ABC News was recognized for its "presciently planned, comprehensive coverage" of Superstorm Sandy. As the East Coast braced for the arrival of Sandy, which was a "perfect storm" of three different systems, ABC's Extreme Weather Team extensively reported on the building storm.
