ABC's WORLD NEWS Delivers Largest Viewer Advantages of the Season

For the week of November 12, 2012, "ABC World News with Diane Sawyer" averaged 8.48 million Total Viewers and a 1.9 rating/7 share/2.20 million in Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research.  Building its Total Viewer count week to week (+2% - 8.34 million on w/o 11/5/12), "World News" attracted its 2nd-strongest overall audience of the season, behind only the week of coverage of Hurricane Sandy.

ABC's NIGHTLINE Finishes as No. 1 Latenight Broadcast Program

For the week of November 5, 2012, ABC's 'Nightline' finished as the No. 1 broadcast program in latenight in all three key measures, Total Viewers (3.801 million), Adults 25-54 (1.412 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.099 million), according to Nielsen Media Research.

Growing week to week by 8% in Total Viewers and by 11% in Adults 25-54 (7.05 million and 1.71 million, respectively, on w/o 10/15/12) to hit season highs in both measures, "World News" drew its most-watched week in 6 weeks and best news demo performance in 8 weeks - since w/o 9/10/12 and w/o 8/27/12, respectively.
