ABC's Diane Sawyer Speaks with George W. Bush Today

The 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush, and former First Lady Laura Bush will speak first to "ABC World News" anchor Diane Sawyer as they prepare for the opening and dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center. President Bush has kept a relatively low profile since leaving office in 2009, making few media appearances.

The interview will air TODAY, APRIL 24 on "World News with Diane Sawyer," which Sawyer will anchor from the George W. Bush Presidential Center on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. The interview will also air later that night on "Nightline" on at 12:35 a.m., ET. In addition, portions of the interview will be featured Thursday, April 25 on "Good Morning America," ABCNews.com, Yahoo! and ABC News Radio. Mrs. Bush will give Sawyer a guided tour of the Center, which will air Thursday evening on "World News."

The Bush Center will house the George W. Bush Presidential Museum and Library as well as the George W. Bush Institute. It will be dedicated on Thursday, April 25. For more on the Bush Center click here!

"World News with Diane Sawyer" airs at 6:30 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. Michael Corn is the executive producer of the broadcast.
