The Beaux Arts Society held its annual Beaux Arts Society Ball, coronating its annual royalty and holding its famous annual costume event.

Performers Charles Busch, Anita Gillette, Diana Templeton, and Kevin Schwab were coronated as the Royal Family of the 108th Beaux Arts Ball.

Bobbie Horowitz has been at the top of the cabaret game for nearly 30 years--as composer, producer, performer and fan--and the recent variety show tribute to her at the Metropolitan Room proved why and was richly deserved.

Last night, May 4, the Board of Directors of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs presented the 2010 MAC Awards at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in Times Square. The awards ceremony and show, produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, was hosted by Sharon McNight. Tracy Stark musical directed. BroadwayWorld celebrated backstage with the evening's winners and participants.

The 2006 MAC AWARDS will be presented on MONDAY, APRIL 17 AT 7:30 PM at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center at BMCC, 199 Chambers Street. Hosted by Lee Roy Reams, the 20th annual MAC Awards will include appearances by Phoebe Snow, Ben Taylor, Karen Mason, Carol Hall and Rocky Carroll among others.
