The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs has announced that The 24th Annual MAC Awards Show will be held on Tuesday, May 4th at 7:30 PM at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill. MAC will be announcing the winners and handing out awards in 24 categories to honor the best in live performance, recordings, songs and shows in cabaret, jazz, and standup comedy from the past year.

Scheduled to appear as performers and presenters are Lucie Arnaz, Lisa Asher, Tony DeSare, The Les Paul Trio, Mario Cantone, Billy Stritch, KT Sullivan, Mark Nadler, Klea Blackhurst, Julie Reyburn, Terese Genecco, Lina Koutrakos, Eric Comstock & Barbara Fasano, Baby Jane Dexter, Karen Mason, Chuck Sweeney as "Miss Peggy Lee," Phil Geoffrey Bond, Laurel Massé, David Friedman, Eileen Fulton, Marilyn Maye, Ruby Rims, John McDaniel, Sean Harkness, Diana Templeton, Thomas Honeck, Nancy Witter. Leon hall from E! Entertainment Television will once again be on the red carpet, and there will be a performance from this year's Lifetime Achievement Award honoree, Leslie Uggams.

The special honorees of the evening are:
Lifetime Achievement Award: Leslie Uggams to be presented by Brian Stokes Mitchell
Board of Directors Award: Peter Leavy
Board of Directors Award: PLAYBILL.COM
Hanson Award: Angela Shultz
Time Out New York Award: Brandon Cutrell

The evening will be hosted by Sharon McNight

The 24th Annual MAC Awards Show is produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts. Tracy Stark is Musical Director.

Tickets for the event range in price from $50 to $160 and may be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/101011 or at www.macnyc.com. Seating is General Admission except for the $160 level, which has reserved premium seating. There is a two drink minimum per person.
