The Guthrie Theater has announced the cast and creative team for Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, adapted by Ken Ludwig, directed by Risa Brainin. 

Winners have been announced for the 2020 BroadwayWorld Indianapolis Awards - which were back bigger than ever, celebrating the best in local theatre of the past decade! 

One of the biggest challenges in producing Shakespeare, is making it appealing and fresh to audiences of all ages. 'How can it feel both accessible and intriguing?' With these thoughts in mind, Aaron Posner and his team must have had some long brainstorming sessions. Luckily, however, they have truly succeeded at a concept that is both loads of fun and works perfectly for William Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor. It's 1972 at the Folger and it's quite the time!

Folger Theatre concludes its successful 2019/20 season with The Merry Wives of Windsor. Aaron Posner (King John, The Winter's Tale, Twelfth Night at Folger Theatre) returns to the Folger to direct Shakespeare's delightful comedy on love, money, deception, and the power of women, set here in the early 1970s.

When the mischievous Falstaff overestimates his own scheming prowess and underestimates the savvy wives in the town of Windsor, hilarity is ahead. The KeyBank Production of A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens' classic tale of redemption for the most despised man in London, will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit this holiday season. This production of A Christmas Carol premiered to great acclaim in 2010 and features a script adapted by Mark Cuddy from Dickens' novella with music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, composer of Geva favorites, Five Course Love and Convenience.

Pittsburgh Public Theater is proud to present the Pittsburgh premiere of Paula Vogel's Tony Award-nominated play, Indecent, directed by Carnegie Mellon University graduate Risa Brainin. Vilna, a new play by Ira Fuchs directed by Joseph Discher, will open its limited Off-Broadway World Premiere engagement at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) tonight Wednesday March 20th.  This limited Off-Broadway engagement will continue through Sunday April 14th only.
