Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. for the Des Moines premiere engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines, July 7-25, 2010.

Off-Broadway's Abingdon Theatre Company continues its 17th Season with the world premiere of PHANTOM KILLER. A new thriller by Jan Buttram, author of 'Texas Homos'

Alley Theatre presents the world premiere of the new musical Wonderland about Alice, a children's book writer in Manhattan who is suffering through a creative block, estranged from her husband and alienated from her daughter. It takes a trip to a strange-yet-familiar Wonderland for her to regain her life's balance and again find the love and everyday magic that reside in us all - if we know how to look. With a book by Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy (The Civil War), lyrics by Jack Murphy, music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlett Pimpernel, The Civil War), and directed by Gregory Boyd, Wonderland begins previews Friday, January 15, opens officially Wednesday, January 20 and runs through Sunday, February 14.

Broken Watch Theatre (Drew DeCorleto, Artistic Director) will celebrate its tenth season by unveiling its newest and most ambition project to date: The Final Draft Production Series. Readings of the three finalists will be presented January 19th 20th and 27th at the Frederick Loewe Room (1501 Broadway, 7th Floor) and are FREE to the public.

Toronto's Jersey Boys announced today that the production will extend through to May 23, 2010. In addition, the cast and crew are participating in fundraising efforts with 'Raising the Roof' and are helping give back to the community this winter.

JERSEY BOYS, the award-winning Broadway musical which opened in London's West End at the Prince Edward Theatre on March 18, 2008, will start Sunday performances on January 17th, with curtain up at 3:00pm. The correct performance schedule at the Prince Edward Theatre is now Tuesdays - Saturdays at 7:30pm, with Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm. Tickets for the 2010 season of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival are now on sale. On February 8, at 8pm EST the Bravo! Network will air 'Des McAnuff: A Life in Stages' documentary tribute to the Multi-time Tony-winning director and stage producer as part of the Great Canadian Bios series. The documentary is a film about one man on two journeys - one the search for understanding of his father he never knew and the other creative zeal that defines his relentless passion for the world of musical theatre.

The Chicago Company of JERSEY BOYS will say 'Bye, Bye Baby' to the Windy City on January 10, 2010, after an incredible run of over two years at the Bank of America Theatre. JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, premiered in Chicago initially as a limited engagement on October 5, 2007. After opening to rave reviews, adding additional performance weeks and setting four new box office records, JERSEY BOYS became a resident production on February 27, 2008. The final performance on January 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. will be the Chicago Company's 951st. The final block of tickets for performances from November 24, 2009 - January 10, 2010 will go on sale on Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m.

The cast of the Australian production of JERSEY BOYS will perform a special medley of their show at the Men's Final of the Australian Open on January 31.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that stage and screen star Oliver Platt is set to co-star opposite Laura Linney in the Bill Condon-helmed dark comedy series 'The C Word' for Showtime.

Performances for The McCarter Theatre Center's world premiere of Will Power's Fetch Clay, Make Man, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, will begin previews tonight, January 8 with an Opening Night set for Friday, January 15, 2010. The production will run through Sunday, February 14 on the Berlind stage of McCarter Theatre Center.

The Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning smash hit musical JERSEY BOYS set a new house record at the August Wilson Theatre in New York. For the week ending January 3, 2010, the show did $1,440,456, marking the 30th time the show has topped itself since it opened in November, 2005.
