The Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE), a panel of critics from media outlets around the state of Massachusetts, have announced the nominees for the IRNE Awards honoring the best of the 2009 Theatre Season.

Alley Theatre's world premiere of the new musical Wonderland will close on Sunday, February 14.

On February 8, at 8pm EST the Bravo! Network will air 'Des McAnuff: A Life in Stages' documentary tribute to the Multi-time Tony-winning director and stage producer as part of the Great Canadian Bios series. The documentary is a film about one man on two journeys - one the search for understanding of his father he never knew and the other creative zeal that defines his relentless passion for the world of musical theatre.

Lindsay Thomas, Stratford veteran and 'Francine' in the Original Canadian Cast of Jersey Boys, passed away Wednesday February 3rd after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She left behind a great legacy of wonderful theatre performances and friendships, as has become evident in the outpouring of support shown over the last few days.

Desert Stages Theatre will present a production of ZANNA, DON'T! written by Tim Acito anAlexander Dinelaris and with music and lyrics by Tim Acito and Alexander Dinelaris as well. ZANNA, DON'T will play from February 5 - April 25 as a part of the Actor's Café.

Broken Watch Theatre (Drew DeCorleto, Artistic Director) will celebrate its tenth season by unveiling its newest and most ambition project to date: The Final Draft Production Series. The Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning hit musical, JERSEY BOYS just received a 2010 Helen Hayes Award nomination for Outstanding Non-Resident Production.
