Four years ago to the day, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning monster hit musical opened on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre, launching an international empire. The famous foursome will also be celebrating the Yankees World Series win this week with a special performance at City Hall between 12pm & 1pm.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 6 for the Charlotte premiere engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Belk Theater March 31 - April 18, 2010.

After a smash sellout at the August Wilson Theater with their 15th Anniversary Reunion Benefit Concert of The Who's Tommy last December, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY returned to BB King's on Monday November 2nd with another star-studded benefit show. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Celebrating the '60s honored the songs and performers from Rock's greatest decade and will feature a 'who's who' of classic recording artists performing alongside some of the biggest stars on Broadway, all to benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation and the Bendheim Center/Scholarship Fund.

Following the curtain call, the Chicago Company of JERSEY BOYS honored Mayor Daley and the City of Chicago with a performance of a special Four Seasons-style arrangement of 'My Kind of Town.'

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) has announced that the culmination of the union's 50th anniversary year is a gala celebration on Sunday, November 8 at the Tribeca Rooftop.

More than 80 mayors were on hand for a special reception co-hosted by Mayor Richard M. Daley (City of Chicago) and Jeffery T. Sherwin (City of Northlake and Chair, Metropolitan Mayors Caucus). The Hollywood Reporter confirms that stage and screen star Oliver Platt is set to co-star opposite Laura Linney in the Bill Condon-helmed dark comedy series 'The C Word' for Showtime.

The National Touring company of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS will offer a special performance to benefit The Actors Fund on Wednesday, October 28, at 2 p.m. at the National Theatre. Casting has been announced for the Detroit engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Fisher Theatre, December 17, 2009 - January 23, 2010.

Bryan Putnam, book, music, and lyrics, continues to show his mutli-faceted talents by jumping into the title role of The ToyMaker due to cast illness. With a mornings rehearsal and organic knowledge of the music, Putnam will sing off-stage at today's 1p performance as Petr, the toy maker.

Toronto's The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has revealed the principal casting for its 2010 season. The stars include Christopher Plummer, Nikki M. Directed by DELICIA TURNER SONNENBERG, this rousing drama recounts the story of four lifelong friends who get together on Christmas Eve and end up making a bet with the devil in disguise. Performances begin in previews on Saturday, November 14, 2009, with an Opening Night performance on Friday, November 20 at 8pm and continue through December 13, 2009 at The Lyceum Theatre.
