Musical theatre company Angelwalk Theatre celebrates Canada's 150th with the world premiere of Everybody's Got A Story: A Celebration of Canadian Women in Music. A tribute to the nation's strong history of women in music, this must-see concert runs Thursday June 15 to Saturday June 17 at 8pm nightly in the brand-new Lyric Theatre at the Toronto Centre for the Arts.

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre has confirmed casting for all five shows in the 67th Music Circus season. The cast is loaded with Broadway veterans-some of whom are making their Music Circus debuts-Tony Award nominees, and audience favorites from previous Music Circus productions.

York's The Belmont Theatre to Present Musical Comedy Sister Act YORK, PA- The Belmont Theatre will present the musical comedy Sister Act -LIVE on the mainstage June 16-18 & 22-25. Friday, Saturday and 2nd Thursday shows are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday shows are at 3:00 p.m.

When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find themselves up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood. This past weekend, interACT Theatre Productions presented 'Sister Act The Musical' at The Baird Community Center in South Orange, New Jersey. The musical is based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg, Maggie Smith and Kathy Najimy. The musical, written by Cheri & Bill Steinkellner, opened on Broadway in 2011 and closed after 561 performances. Although the musical does not utilize songs from the film, the musical score is comprised of both fun and heartwarming songs with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.

MainStage Irving-Las Colinas unveiled three plays, two musicals and a special collaboration that will be produced as part of the 2017-18 season to a packed house of volunteers, subscribers, and supporters on Saturday night, April 15 at the Irving Arts Center. CABRILLO MUSIC THEATRE is going to 'take you to heaven' with the second show in its 2016-2017 season, SISTER ACT!
