Next Up From the FSU/Asolo Conservatory is Sarah Ruhl's DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE

Ring ring, it's life on the line. An unsuspecting woman becomes deeply involved in the hilarious wiles of a stranger's life. His phone won't stop ringing (and he's not exactly able to answer) so she picks up the phone down the proverbial rabbit hole she goes. Sarah Ruhl penned the romantic comedy that Peter Amster will direct. The show will run in the Cook Theatre from February 19 through March 8, with a pay-what-you-can (minimum $5, day of performance) preview night on February 18.

Broadway's Future Songbook Series Presents MANDELA

Broadway's Future Songbook Series - presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow - continues its 2019-20 season on Monday, November 25th in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street. Produced and Hosted by John Znidarsic, the evening spotlights the new musical - MANDELA. Show time is 6PM and ADMISSION IS FREE.

ANTIGONE Kicks Off 2019-20 Conservatory Season

The FSU/Asolo Conservatory begins a new season with the classic Greek drama, Antigone, by Sophocles. Director of the Conservatory and the show, Greg Leaming, will put a modern spin on this ancient tale of right versus wrong. All twelve second-year students have a role in this show, playing from October 30 a?' November 17 in the Cook Theatre, with a pay-what-you-can (minimum $5) preview night on October 29.

THE GREATEST MUSICAL NEVER WRITTEN Receives New York Industry Workshops

Two industry workshops for The Greatest Musical Never Written will be held on Monday, June 17 at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the new Birdland Theater (315 West 44th Street New York, NY). The workshops will be presented by Aged In Wood Productions (Tony Award-winners Robyn Goodman and Josh Fiedler, whose combined credits include Avenue Q, In The Heights, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella and Angels in America), Brian and Dayna Lee (Tony Award-winners for Angels in America), Kliffer Entertainment (Evangeline), Merrie L. Davis of Next Act 2 Follow (Olivier Award-winner for Company), in association with Nicole Kramer.

ANGELS IN AMERICA's 'Angels Fund' Offers $5 Tickets to LGBTQ & HIV/AIDS Organizations

Producers Tim Levy (Director, NT America) and Jordan Roth (President, Jujamcyn Theaters) announced today that the Olivier Award®-winning National Theatre revival of Tony Kushner's masterwork, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, has established the 'Angels Fund' to provide hundreds of $5 tickets to each part of the play to NYC-area LGBTQ & HIV/AIDS service organizations. Some of the organizations that have received these specially-priced tickets include: Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC), SAGE, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center and The LGBTQ Center.

ANGELS IN AMERICA Extends Through July 15

Producers Tim Levy (Director, NT America) and Jordan Roth (President, Jujamcyn Theaters) announced today that the Olivier Award-winning National Theatre revival of Tony Kushner's masterwork, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, now the most Tony Award nominated play in history, has extended its run on Broadway for an additional two weeks, through Sunday, July 15, 2018. Originally announced as an 18-week limited engagement, Angels in America began previews on February 23, and opened March 25 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street).

ANGELS IN AMERICA Wins Best Revival Of A Play At The Olivier Awards

Today at London's Olivier Awards®, the National Theatre production of Tony Kushner's epic and seminal masterwork, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes won Best Revival of a Play and Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Denise Gough).
